Asset Allocation folios consist of asset allocation models based on different time frames and risk tolerances. Diversified asset allocation is the concept of investing in multiple asset classes that don’t perform in the same ways at the same times.

“Basic” Asset Allocation folios are designed for Folio Basic Plan customers and use a smaller number of ETFs to provide good diversification while keeping commission costs low. Other Asset Allocation folios are better suited for Folio Unlimited Plan customers who can trade commission-free* as they offer a broader array of ETFs for greater diversification.
