BetterInvesting is a non-profit U.S. organization that supports investment clubs and individual investor education. This portfolio is not strategically designed or meant to achieve a particular goal, but is rather a report of the holdings of investment clubs. If you use this portfolio, be sure that its holdings meet your investment objectives. This list of securities will not be updated on a regular basis, nor will it represent the current holdings of the investment clubs surveyed after the list’s annual publication date.

Strategy

The BetterInvesting Top 100 index is a selection of the Top 100 stocks owned by the Members of BetterInvesting. It is updated once a year based on the Annual Investment Club Survey, published by BetterInvesting every December. You can view the index on the NASDAQ exchange under the symbol BIXX (note that an index is not a tradable security). Learn more at www.betterinvesting.org.

Steps to Create This Folio

  1. Securities were selected from the top 100 stocks owned by the Members of BetterInvesting as reported in the current Annual Investment Club Survey.
  2. Securities equally weighted in the folio.
    • Securities and their percentage weights will change from year to year and, given the annual nature of their publication, you will not be able to track this list with the actual holdings of investment clubs.

Number of Securities

When this folio is updated it generally starts with 100 securities but the number of securities may decrease between updates if securities originally included are no longer tradable.

Update Frequency

The folio will be updated annually to report holdings based on the BetterInvesting Top 100 index (NASDAQ: BIXX). Corporate actions, such as mergers or other events, will cause the underlying holdings in the folio to change. If changes occur that affect the folio, you will need to update your holdings to account for such activity. BetterInvesting does not update this list during the year to account for such activity.

If the characteristics of the Folio have changed substantially, the securities included may change. Also, corporate actions, such as a merger, or other events may cause changes to the securities held at any time. Your returns may deviate significantly from the values displayed here, due to many factors, including how long after a folio has been updated that you place orders to update your holdings. RTGs are updated using market data from multiple sources including Zacks Investment Research ( www.zacks.com ), International Data Corporation (IDC) ( www.idc.com ), and other suppliers.
