A critical part of customizing your portfolio is excluding any investments that are wrong for your goals, risk tolerance, or values.

We make it easy to steer clear of investments that you don’t want with filters that block investments in individual securities, sectors, or industries that you prefer to avoid. We even have a social issue filter to help you align your investments to your social values. You can apply these exclusions to any and all of your accounts.

While we attempt to gather inclusions and exclusions category data from reliable sources periodically, we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness or that we have or are providing the most current information available.

Note that selecting an exclusion category does not guarantee that you will not purchase securities that could be considered in that category. For example, many category definitions are subjective and thus what is included or excluded in the categories compiled by Folio may differ from your expectations, you and your advisor can override an exclusion, new and newly added securities are not immediately included in an exclusion category, or securities may change exclusion categories.
